	Charming Tea Spot for the Young at Heart - This brunch favorite is for sophisticates who are young at heart. Before you're seated, kids and kids-at-heart can be sprinkled with fairy dust (glitter) and don fairy wings. The menu will satisfy those seeking a proper tea service; tea trays stacked with a variety of sandwiches are cut into smaller portions, mouthwatering fresh baked scones are accompanied by clotted cream and jam, cookies, and even cake. The selection of teas is staggering. In a cozy atmosphere you'll enjoy pouring your tea from a china teapot into mismatching flower bedecked china teacups with a vintage feel. If you prefer not to have a one of the traditional tea meals, complete with sandwiches, scones, and sweets, then Alice's has a bounty of fresh soups and salads from which you may choose. The buttermilk scones and Jen's Almost Famous Mocha Chocolate Chip Cake are must-try items. The dense cake is loaded with chocolate chips and covered with a sweet and creamy mocha icing. The service is friendly but can be a bit less than attentive, particularly when a private party is being held in the back room.
