Cafe Lalo

	Cafe Worth the Hype - Made famous by its cameo in "You've Got Mail," Cafe Lalo is a charming place to enjoy a meal, snack, or drink. The vibe is bright and cheery, with bright lights illuminating every nook and cranny of this brick-walled shop adorned with vintage-style posters. Although the upbeat music can be played too loudly, service is friendly and provides excellent recommendations. The only difficult part of visiting Cafe Lalo is deciding which dessert to order. There are over 100 cakes from which to choose. The desserts are rich and decadent and the cappuccino is creamy and flavorful. The German chocolate cake is outstanding. The late hours of operation (Lalo is open until 2 a.m. on weekdays and 4 a.m. on weekends) make Cafe Lalo the perfect place for a late night nosh.
