Service is friendly and gives good recommendations. With everything from seafood to steaks to salads on the menu, Ditch Plains' menu is extensive enough to satisfy the pickiest eater and to leave those with more adventurous palates wanting to come back for more. Oysters, salmon, and the Ditch dog are among the most popular menu items. Smoked mozzarella and ricotta fritters, fried pickles, and deviled eggs round out the creative comfort food appetizers. One of the best menu options is the ability to add barbecued chicken or lobster to mac and cheese. The drink menu is just as fun as the food, with offerings like a spicy Corona with tequila, lime, and tabasco. And if you can save room for dessert, you'll find deep fried candy bars. The check is cheerfully presented with saltwater taffy.
