Join the Downtown Boathouse for 20-minute instructional paddles, and explore the Hudson River first hand. Please wear a bathing suit or shorts and a t-shirt, and know how to swim. Weather permitting. No registration required. Kayaks and life vests provided. More Info
The Matt Brewing Company Tasting

This American Life - Things You Can't Do On The Radio

WBEZ Chicago's hit radio show This American Life comes to select movie screens nationwide this May. Host Ira Glass and popular contributors present stories, plus things you could never do on the radio - including dance, animation, video and more. Captured live May 10 and broadcast from the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts in New York City, the event will feature David Sedaris, stories by David Rakoff and Glynn Washington, a new short film by Mike Birbiglia, music by OK Go, comedy by Tig Notaro, and special surprise guests. Memorial Day Special! Memorial Walk Tour
When: Monday, May 28th at 1:00pm
Where: Central Park
Combine a walk through Central Park with a look at how different generations of New Yorkers viewed the Park as a proper place to remember their veterans.
