The Pearls of Wisdom storytellers give voice to history as experienced from the ground up. The Pearls, a group of elder tellers from Elders Share the Arts, have been sharing their personal stories and collective wisdom with New York City neighborhoods since 1994. Their stories bear witness to the tremendous historical and social changes in America and the world during their lifetimes. Each member has a unique story that sheds light on history and humanity.
